Aasif visits his wife's parents' house and happens to go to a ground that is supposedly haunted. However, he is soon possessed by the spirit of a transgender who is out for revenge. this movie is dubbed in bollywood it was first a tamil movie named kanchana nice should watch it once in life

Laxmii is a remake of the Tamil film Kanchana (2011). The director, Raghava Lawrence, stays loyal to the antics that he included in the original film, which is why they feel clichéd and old at times. Be it to evoke horror through rather predictable jump scares or laughter through slapstick comedy, if you have watched Kanchana, you will hardly find any surprises in the 2020 film. A bit of novelty would have worked wonders. As for the ones who haven’t watched the Tamil masterpiece, you might find your heart skip a beat at a scene or two and a chuckle here and there. The songs add little to the film except Bam Bholle, the incredibly powerful track which gives goosebumps when it is played.
