This movie is an underrated and underappreciated gem. It has a lot of heart in it. This film isn't about plot, but about the emotions behind the characters. If you get the emotions, you will love it, otherwise you will term it boring. The sets and cinematography is great. It starts in Kolkata, and the city is soothing in this film. I would put Ayushman's performance here as one of his three best performaces ever, along with Andhadhun and Article 15. The old songs play a very important role here. They are themselves a character in the film, and takes the story forward. So does the original soundtrack.

Bindu moves in and out of relationships casually, also runs out of her own wedding twice until she again meets Abhi. This is when they both are in Mumbai where she tries to live her passion for music. They both again grow close, he finally gathers the courage to propose her.
