The Expanse is just a fantastic show. Period. Several reviews point out that its a great or one of the best 'sci-fi' shows. It's a great sci-fi show, yes, but in the grand scope of current television, it's just one of the best shows out there. You don't have to have a strong interest in the genre to get into it. The Expanse has big ideas, great characters, a continually evolving story, excellent visuals, and a great sense of wonder as the series evolves.
