Forever alone in a crowd, failed comedian Arthur Fleck seeks connection as he walks the streets of Gotham City. Arthur wears two masks -- the one he paints for his day job as a clown, and the guise he projects in a futile attempt to feel like he's part of the world around him. Isolated, bullied and disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.

An insightful, almost painfully honest look into the issues society faces with addressing mental illness in an adequate fashion. Also a believable, canon-worthy take on the potential origins of The Joker as a character.

Its a good movie about society treats a man with mental health and how a comic character turns evil

Arthur Fleck, a party clown, leads an impoverished life with his ailing mother. However, when society shuns him and brands him as a freak, he decides to embrace the life of crime and chaos.
